See you again SOON, I hope!

I waited a long time for this one! I'm really more a "sonic" kind of guy--screaming guitars, piano/keyboard wizardry, thunderous drums, etc. You know: Rush, Iron Maiden, Queen, etc. Rock 'n' Roll! Not so much lyrics/ballads. But one notable exception was/still is BARRY MANILOW. I love the "schmaltz factor". Old love songs from a nice Jewish boy --just like me. Surprised the hell out of my girlfriend that I JUMPED on two tickets for us. Glad I did; not only for her, but for ME!! From the opening "It's a Miracle" to the big finish of "Copa Cabana/I Write the Songs/Miracle" (reprise/medley), and the tales of family, musical career, old videos, the "Stuck on Band-Aids Jingle story", and a "L'Chayim" (only time I'll ever hear that at Amalie Arena, I'm sure), he NAILED it! Sang along, laughed along, and enjoyed all the awesome memories from the 70s. Now awaiting the NEXT Tampa show. By all means, GO. You'll be glad you did!
